A CAD viewer that opens DWG and DWF drawings without touching the originals, letting you review layers and layouts on the GPU.
What it is for
Opens drawings from R13 through R2018 read-only, using safe DWG, DWF, and DWFx parsers written in pure Rust and a wgpu renderer. Review 2D entities, layers and layouts, and even 3D solids and materials without modifying the original.
Identifies and decodes files from DWG R13 (AC1012) through R2018 (AC1032), and opens DWF and DWFx files in the same viewer.
Displays lines, arcs, circles, ellipses, splines, polylines, hatches (pattern and gradient), dimensions, text and MTEXT, block and array inserts, leaders and multileaders, tables, and images.
Reflects layer colors, lineweights, and visibility, as well as linetype scale (LTSCALE) and dashed and text repeat patterns, exactly as drawn.
Follows Paper Space layouts and viewport projections so you see the print arrangement as is.
Reconstructs ACIS-based REGION, 3DSOLID, and BODY geometry, and applies material colors and texture projection.
Converts drawings into a format-neutral model, then draws lines, fills, points, and layouts with wgpu.
Forbids unsafe in all product code, and checks section bounds, parsing limits, and CRCs to safely reject corrupted files.
Inspect a drawing's structure, model, scene, and layout information from the command line.
