Electron 44.6.0 adds experimental protocol.registerSource API
The stable release adds experimental protocol.registerSource() to serve disk directories through a custom scheme without a JavaScript handler. The API remains experimental. Fixes also address a macOS startup crash and stalled webview.findInPage calls; regression-test the relevant paths.
