Claude Code 2.1.319 backgrounds terminal tool calls returned as MCP tasks and reports their completion. permissions.denyInsteadOfPrompting denies calls that would wait for permission and continues the turn. Auto-mode server checks also change with gateway and telemetry settings; review your organization policy. The npm file was verified. This is not a new model.
